Journeymen printers cov-1 ered by the printing trades j employees’ award will get ’ $1.68 an hour, or $67.40 a, week from November 13. The ! award is subject to the con-j sent of the Remuneration! Other gains included an increase in the female rate from 75 per cent to 80 per cent of the male general hands’ rate (about $42.88 a week); an increase in the night-shift allowance from $5 to $6; three weeks holiday after two years with the same employer (four weeks after four years for night newspaper staff); 15 days I cumulative sick pay, and five i days for the year involved.
