Last chance for golfers
Should anyone wish to play a round in the Museum Golf Classic tomorrow, he will have to be an early starter —and get back into town to find the organiser, Mr C. M. Smith. Entries in the event close at mid-day tomorrow. The results will be announced next week. There have been some good scores—one team is 12 under its handicaps—but some checking with club handicappers has to be carried out. The tournament, devised to raise funds for the Canterbury Museum extension appeal and the Christchurch Garden City Golf Classic, has so far realised $l5OO.
