Board works free of indebtedness

The final debentures had been repaid on a $322,520 loan raised initially in 1934 by the Waimakariri River Trust, and this made the board’s works free of loan debt, said the chairman (Dr W. R. Holmes) at the annual meeting of the North Canterbury Catchment Board.
