The wrong number
CAMBRIDGE. A volatile Welshman picked on the wrong man for an earbashing when be decided to tell the massive New Zealand prop, Keith Murdoch, how unlucky Cardiff was to lose at Cardiff Arms Park on Saturday (writes J. K. Brooks). The patriotic “Taffy” approached Murdoch in a Cardiff Street and went on at great length about the virtues of the home team and the luck enjoyed by the All Blacks. Murdoch extended his large hand and propelled the Welsh supporter backwards at walking paca and manoeuvred him into a telephone box. He shut the door firmly and walked away, leaving the Welshman holding an interesting conversation with himself.
