stiff at London Airport looked, shook their heads and looked again as passengers filed off a flight from Cairo recently. For there in her white gown was a bride — complete with veil and bouquet, according to the October issue of “8.0.A.C. News.” The bridegroom, Mr Mahamed Owais, a 31-year-old transport engineering student from Cairo, explained: “It is customary in Egypt for a bride-to-be to wear her gown before the wedding ceremony.” The couple were getting married in Newcastle-upon-Tyne the next day.
