Christchurch West retained Its lead In the women's senior softball championship with an easy victory over Bumside on Saturday, helped by a second Innings which produced eight runs. Monowai scored steadily in its game against Spreydon and holds second place. Results of Saturday’s matches were: Christchurch West 13, Burnside 1; Monowai 12, Spreydon 1. CHRISTCHURCH WEST v. Eaton in the sixth, scored for Monowai to end the game with a 10 run adeantage
