The adjoining clinical services block comprises Outpatient, Accident and Emergency, Pathological, Radiological, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Admitting and House Manager's departments. The top floor is a suite of four operating theatres. A radiotherapy unit and a special departments block are to be added. New Plymouth is a pleasantly situated coastal city of 36,000 population, enjoying a good climate and containing good educational, cultural and sporting amenities.
