MANAGER DAIRY INDUSTRY PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT CENTRE FOLLOWING the establishment ol the Dairy Product Development Centre adjacent to the New Zealand Dairy Research Institute, Palmerston North, applications are invited for the position of Product Development Centre Manager. Applicants should hold Dairy Factory Managers Registration and have wide experience of the dairy industry. It is hoped that the successful applicant would commence duties early in March, but this is open to negotiation. The Product Development Centre has been established to facilitate bridging the gap between commercial production and research, small-scale new process and product development. The Manager will be responsible to the committee of management for the operation of the Centre, and under the general direction of the committee will work in association with the Dairy Board, Dairy Companies, Dairy Division and the Dairy Research Institute on various technical aspects of product development. Salary will be fully commensurate with that of senior management in the dairy industry.
