CANTERBURY EDUCATION BOARD MECHANICAL SERVICES OFFICER APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED for a Mechanical Services Officer to supervise and inspect mechanical services contracts in the Board’s area, and duties would include the submission of reports on various mechanical services matters and the preparation of plans and specifications for school low pressure heating systems, together with supervision and inspection of their installation. Applicants should have considerable experience of mechanical services and be in the 35-50 age group. Membership of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers or the N.Z.I.E. would be an advantage. The maximum salary for the position is $5026 per annum with provision for a possible increase on merit to $5274 per annum, following a minimum of 12 month’s sendee.
