The Colonial Sugar Refining Company, Ltd, industrial and mining group, will take a small interest in a new company, associated with Dr Lewis Weeks, the man responsible for Australia’s Bass Strait oil and gas discoveries. The new company, Weeks Natural Resources, Ltd, plans! to float to the public soon,l will acquire a 55 per cent of the Bass Strait royalties of Dr Lewis Weeks and will also acquire various oil explora-i tion prospects throughout the! world.
