Duke sends telegram
(N.Z.P.A. Staff Correspondent) LONDON, November 2. Prince Philip honoured a New Zealand greyhound bitch this week with a congratulatory telegram after the birth of her first litter. The message read: “Mama Mia, congratulations, hope they will all be front-runners. I Philip.” Mia, the greyhound, had -produced her six pups after winning 13 races. The prizeI money went to the Duke of -Edinburgh Award scheme. ' A Buckingham Palace (spokesman said Prince Philip -had been given another grey-, [hound by a British weilI wisher and that its prizemoney went towards a plaving fields award scheme.
