Rape inquiry
Christchurch detectives are still inquiring into the alleged rape of a 24-year-old married woman on the north bank of the Avon River, in Cambridge Terrace, near Barbadoes Street, between 12.15 a.m. and 12.30 a.m. yesterday. The woman was escorted form a city hotel and was going to a party when the incident occurred. She flagged down a passing car and went to the police. She was bruised
