BELT BENEFIT
Benefits for those who wear seat-belts will be built into the life insurance offered by the N.I.M.U. Insurance Company, which is to change its name to the A.A. Mutual Insurance Company. The company will continue to be the official insurance company of the eight North Island automobile associations. Under the company’s
policies, the basic capital benefits will be doubled when the insured’s death is because of an accident, but they will be trebled when death is caused by a motoraccident while the insured person was wearing an approved seat-belt. The company says it is offering the special feature to encourage the wearing of seat-belts.
