RESULTS OF CROQUET
Miss J. Clarke, the young Hawke’s Bay player, continued her sound form, winning two opt of three games yesterday, in the New Zealand croquet council’s president’s junior invitation event. During the day she beat the national junior champion, G. Roberts (Dunedin), 26-13. Results were:— Mrs D. Stanton (Canterbury) 26, G. Roberts (Otago) 14; ft. Jackson (Auckland) 26. Mrs R. l6; Mrs Richardson M Stanton 12; Mrs Norris 26, Mrs Shanks 7; Miss Clarke 26, Mrs Millar 3.
