Blood, Sweat and Tears has undergone some changes since David Clayton-Thomas was first replaced. His original replacement, blind Houston pianist . singer, Bobby Doyle never really made it with the band and left after a couple of months. Doyle’s place has been taken by a Texas bar room singer Jerry Fisher. When Fisher joined the band he did not want to have to sing all the old material sung by Clayton-Thomas. He wanted to join the band as a new singer singing new songs.
* S 3 Arlo Guthrie recently bought a farm where, with his wife and two children, he hopes to breed horses, goats and a few chickens. He is trying to get some of his taxes back from the Government in the form of an improvement grant, which he has applied for. Apart from registering disapproval with his Government, he does not want to get involved in campaigns like many other American musicians.
