Five players will make their first appearance of the British tour when the All Blacks meet Cardiff at Cardiff Arms Park on Saturday. They are R. W. Norton, A. J. Wyllie, B. Holmes, S. M. Going, and T. J. Morris. Most of the changes from the side which lost to Llanelli are in the forwards. L A. Kirkpatrick, P. J. Whiting and K. Murdoch will be playing their third successive match.
Kirkpatrick suffered a bruised thigh against Llanelli, B. G. Williams left the field with a leg stiff from a kick above the knee, and Norton is still limping from achilles tendon trouble, but all three are confident of taking their places on Saturday. Morris and Going are now recovered and anxious to get into action.
The team is: Morris; G. B. Batty, B. J. Robertson, Williams; M. Sayers, R. E. Burgess; Going; Holmes; Wyllie, P. J. Whiting, H H. Macdonald. Kirkpatrick (captain); Murdoch, Norton, J. D. Matheson.
Reserves: Backs, I. N. Stevens, D. A. Hales, I. A. Hurst; forwards, G. J. Whiting, A. R. Sutherland, R. A. Urlich.
