Nader renews safety call

Ralph Nader’s car safety centre yesterday called on the i General Motors Corporation jto make good a two-month-i old pledge to report on its ini vesitgation of alleged steering defects in 1959 and 1960 .Cadillacs, and to recall them from use. : In a letter to the firm’s 'president (Mr Richard Gersjtenberg), Mr Nader says that such a recall “would be a positive contribution to the cause of auto safety, and would reduce the likelihood of [further needless loss of life.”
