NEW PLYMOUTH, Oct. 31. Candidates for Taranaki seats in the General Election include:
New Democrat Party.— Stratford: Mr W. J. Dunleavy. aged 58, a self-employed salesman, of New Plymouth. Egmont: Mr D. Tabuteau, aged 38, of Rotorua, who runs a shop at Murupara. Values Party.—New Plymouth: Mr P. Neilson, aged 25, married, with four children, an office executive.
CONDEMNATION. — The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church, which is meeting in Palmerston North, yesterday condemned South Africa's policy of apartheid and urged the New Zealand Rugby Union to cancel the proposed Springbok tour.—(P.A.).
