HOLES SOLD
With the 1972 Christchurch Garden City Classic less than a month away, $B5OO is still needed to meet the costs of $26,000.
The organising committee’! publicity officer (Mr H. Manning) announced yesterday that two more holes had been sold, both to golf clubs. Ths Russley club, on whose course the tournament will be played, has taken up the fifth and Avondale the seventh.
