Auckland, for a scientist (Entomology). Duties include the identification and comment on antnropod pest of economic plants and the maintenance of collections and records. There will be some opportunity for independent research and survey work. The position requires a graduate in Agricultural Science or Science with a sound general knowledge of insect classification and an aptitude for orderly and precise work. Some knowledge of horticulture would be an advantage. Salary up to $8343 according to qualifications and experience. Assistance may be granted to a married man required to move his household. We require an experienced Sales Representative. THE JOB— The Mill Division produces machine knitting, gowns, piecegoods and blankets. Our customers are other divisions within the company and knitters, garment manufacturers and wholesalers throughout New Zealand. The Mill Representative will service these existing accounts and also be expected to develop new business. LOCATION— The Mill Representative is located in our Christchurch head office. He is expected to visit our Auckland and Wellington customers on a six weekly cycle and to visit the Mill regularly. REQUIREMENTS— It is highly desirable that applicants have a background of experience in the area of Yarn Production or Knitting. Sales experience would be an advantage but is not essential. The man we require will have a pleasant personality, the ability to communicate at all levels and above all will be an innovator.
