Although he did not run the fastest time of the morning, the ' hack. Nabisco, worked keenly at Hastings yesterday and should have a good chance in the Clive Hack Handicap tomorrow. Time honours were shared bv Just Tops and Earlez. The trestles were 40 feet out on the course proper which was hard and fast. The plough was deep and holding. On the plough Nabisco (Tinsley) ran the last three of four furlongs in 38 2-ssec. Winston Lad was let off with an easy three furlongs in 42 2-ssec and his Glenvale Stakes rival. Master Morgan (Coleman), did strong pacework then ran his last three furlongs in 40 4-ssec. Red Nib (Pringle) beat Relampago (Hercock) by two lengths over five furlongs in Imin 6sec. the last three in 41sec Aladdin (G. Julius) looked welh when he ran half a mile in 51 sec. ' the last three furlongs in 39sec. An Oncidium filly (Pringle)', was ahead of Dunarven (P. Julius) and Bar (Tinsley) over half a mile in 52 2-ssec. the last three furlongs in 39 2-ssec. Just Tops (Hercock) was travelling easily alongside Earlez (D. Fretney) after five furlongs in Imin 0 3-ssec, the last three i in 38 3-ssec. It was a dashing; trial. I
