Party line in green
It started with “The Little Red School Book” and since then “little books” of various colours have been the fashion. To match the trend, the Social Credit Political League has “The Little Green Socred Book,” with a pale green cover and printed in green ink on yellow paper.
The 48-page booklet is the first of a series of seven background documents for the party’s election campaign and has been prepared by the deputy leader of the league (Mr L. W. Hunter) and the convenor of its education committee (Mr P. J. Edmonds). It outlines the Social Credit policy on particular economic, political and social questions and is interspersed with satirical limericks and verse about the present political forum. The book, which is campaign equipment for all Social Credit candidates, will be released for sale.
