Multiple crash on Ml
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) NORTHAMPTON, Oct. 30. More than 60 cars and lorries skidded into one another on Britain’s Ml motorway last night.
Ambulances took 27 people to hospital, two of them seriously injured.
The Royal Automobile Club says that the multiple crash occurred on a section of the highway made slippery by heavy rain after a dry soell. The Ml, linking London with the Midlands and the North, was closed to traffic for four miles around the crash scene.
