Vincent Price
Vincent Price, perhaps best known for his appearances in horror movies, casts this film world aside in a delightfully different variety special. The show is set in an elegant country mansion in the south of England where Price plays host to entertainers ranging from The New Seekers to actresses Ciaran Madden and Patricia Routledge, and jazz singer Cleo Lane.
Comedian Peter Reeves provides the laughs and the show ends with an enormous banquet for the guests, who also include Michael Flanders and Lynn Redgrave. “Vincent Price Is In the Country,” a London Weekend Television production, screens from CHTV3 on Sunday.
