MARKET REVERSAL.—-Share prices were cut back across the market in declining turnover last week as buying interest diminished. However, the leaders firmed on Friday giving the market a firmer tone. The bar chart shows the number of daily rises and falls; rises are represented by shaded bars above the 0-line and falls by solid bars below. Both are measured against the right-hand scale. Above the bars Christchurch turnovers are graphically shown in 000s against the left-hand scale. Dates are shown at the bottom.
