Fire guts bach
A bach at 74 Bowenvale Avenue, Cashmere, was destroyed by fire yesterday afternoon. The blaze is believed to have been started by children playing with matches.
The 30ft by 15ft wooden building was well alight when firemen arrived, and though they had the fire quickly under control the bach was gutted. The bach was owned by the Mount Vernon Fanning Company.
