CANTERBURY.—Light winds inland; moderate easterlies about the coasts; fine apart from areas of low cloud this morning; warm afternoon temperatures inland and mild near the coast. MARLBOROUGH, NELSON.—Northwesterlies, becoming fresh about the northern sounds but winds light elsewhere apart from afternoon sea breezes; fine weather; becoming warm inland and mild near the coast. BULLER, WESTLAND.—Moderate winds, south-westerlies predominating; cloudy with some drizzle patches morning and night; rather mild. OUTLOOK.—CIoudy at times in the west; fine in the east.
