While the photographs must meet reproduction standards, technical quality will count for less than human interest and originality relative to the following categories: LIFE (children, people, animals with an emphasis on pictures which display or arouse emotion) ACTIVITY (sport, play, work, with the activity dominant over any emotion) SCENES (including man’s contribution, from architecture to junkyards) Minimum size print Bln x 6ln. Black and White only accepted but contestants who possess worthy colour slides are reminded they can get Black and White prints made from these. PRIZES Weekly section winners will receive a cash prize of $5. FINALS: The winning photograph, selected from all sections, will be awarded a prize of $5O. Best prints in other two sections will receive $l5 each. Weekly closing dates will be 5 p.m. October 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, November Ist.
