Your New Family Benefit From 5 July the Family Benefit was increased from $1.50 to $3.00 a week for each child. BLUE ORDERS for multiples of $6.00 will be paid on due date at double their face value GREEN ORDERS will be paid at the amount shown on the order. This is the new rate. CASH AND CREDIT. Orders may be cashed at any Post Office or in any paying office of the Department of Social Welfare or credited to the holder’s account in a Trustee Savings Bank or Trading Bank.
