SYDNEY. Queensland’s 87-year-oid R. Vines ended a four-year run without a tournament win by taking the BIO.CM Australian PG A golf championship. Vines had a last round of 71— two under par—to win the championship by two strokes from the defending champion, W. Dunk. Vines earned a 820 M cheque and automaUc selection In next year’s World Cup series. His total for four rounds wae Ball finished back In third place. T. Kendall and W. J. Godfrey were the best of the New Zeeland competitors with four-round totals of 3M H. Kennedy (New Zealand) 1 scored rounds of 73, 82, 75, 76, and A. Palmer (New Zealand), 82, 72. 77. 81.
