Field day plans
A sheep and beef farmers’ field day will be held at Lincoln College on Thursday, October 26. The day will begin at 10 a.m. on the college research farm and before lunch the field day party will shift to Ashley Dene.
Topics discussed will include research work on beef cattle nutrition and prime lamb flock management.
This field day will replace the two days usually held on Ashley Dene and the college main block farms respectively. Those attending are asked to bring their own lunch. Morning and afternoon teas will be provided.
