A. and B. profit down 14.8%
Associations WELLINGTON. Sept. 28. The group net profit of Andrews and Beaven, Ltd, for the year to June 30. fell by $79,157 or 14.8 per cent to $456,689. the directors have announced. The result was reached after providing special depreciation of $71,157 which was not claimed in the two previous financial years. The directors recommend a final dividend of 4 per cent making an unchanged rate of 8 per cent for the year. It is recommended that $150,000 be added to general reserves to bring this to $1,250,000. Consolidated revenue reserves are $1,944,989. The current ratio rose to 2.4 to 1. Stock and work in progress is down by sl.sm to $8,695,627. The final dividend is payable on November 8. Books close on October 31.
