Asians accepted
West Germany has offered to take up to 1000 Ugandan Asians “as a gesture of solidarity with Europe, and with Britain in particular.” From Vienna it is reported that Austria, too, has decided, in principle, to accept some of the refugees, but has not decided how many.—Bonn, Sept. 24.
