Injuries to cyclist
The New Zealand road cyclist, B. Pascoe, is a doubtful starter for the 182 kilometres road race after a fall during training yesterday. Pascoe landed in trees off the side of the Olympic circuit after veering to avoid a truck. The cycling manager (Mr C. J. Hollows) says that Pascoe is badly bruised and has a suspected fracture of a small bone in the back of his neck.
