These three cyclamen plants! were presented to “The Press’’ sports depart-, ment more than 11 years' ago. They have been in the same position almost continuously in that time, getting watered most days.
I “There has been no repotting, no applications of sustaining plant foods—only a diet of central heating and cigarette smoke,” to quote the words of one of the sports editors. ' The cyclamens continue to flourish and they take it
in turns to flower. There has hardly been a week when at least one plant has not been in bloom. Well, perhaps we lazy gardeners had better forget the specific cultural advice and follow the above routine—its certainly much easier.
