ITALIAN PRESS.—-Part of an Italian-made press similar in design to a press which is being imported by Andreae (N.Z.), Ltd, for its Kaputone scouring factory at Belfast. The dense packing technique results in the wool being covered with a smooth wrapping of clean fabric, which is held in place by steel bands and wires. The bale will be equivalent in weight to the maximum permissible double dump of about 700lb, but will be half the size.
