Elderly man killed
An elderly man died in hospital from injuries he received when struck by a car at the corner of Studholme Street and Somerfield Street last evening.
He was Albert Owen Cox, aged 88, of 86 Studholme Street, Somerfield.
The accident, which occurred about 6.15 p.m., was a few yards from Mr Cox’s home.
