APPLE TORTE 2 eggs 1 teaspoon lemon essence 1 cup caster sugar 1 cup plain flour 1 can fresh-up’ apple pie pinch salt filling 2 teaspoons baking % cup chopped almonds powder Sift dry ingredients together. Beat eggs until light and creamy and add sugar, mix into dry ingredients. Stir in pie filling, chopped almonds and lemon essence.
