Theft of radio
A transistor radio was stolen from the Selwyn Fish Supply. 306 Selwyn Street, Spreydon, on Tuesday night. The shop is owned by Mr F. G. Flint, who was beaten and robbed of about $2OO at his Hoon Hay home on July
The burglar got in by forcing the front door. The shop next door, i Selwyn Dry Cleaners, 306 A Selwyn Street, was broken into the same way and 4d in old currency taken. Also on Tuesday night. Gray’s Butchery, 38 Nayland Street, Sumner, was broken into through a rear window and $32 worth of meat stolen. 1
