Record 70 at Burnham

The Burnham Camp golf course has been the scene of some fine golf recently. On Saturday, J. Murray equalled the course record with a score of 70. W. L. Poka set the record in 1969. Also, P. G. Cowen holed in one during the qualifying round of the club championships. He scored the ace, his first in seven years of golf, on the 124-yard eleventh hole, using an 8-iron.
