Ambulance figures
One hundred and sixtythree patients were taken by the St John Ambulance Association to hospital from 122 motor accidents in Christchurch last month. In June last year, 103 patients were taken from 135 accidents. Miles travelled during the month amounted to 15,289 (14,639 last year) and 107 (113) miscellaneous accidents were attended. Ambulances carried 2514 (2214) patients.
