Witnesses sought

The Christchurch police wish to get in touch with two drivers who stopped at the scene of an accident in which a bicycle and a car collided at the intersection of Grove and Hazeldean Roads, Addington, on Saturday evening. The cyclist, Raymond George Day, aged 68, was last night in a comfortable condition in Christchurch Hospital with head injuries suffered in the accident. Senior-Sergeant A. E. V. Yaxley said yesterday that two drivers stopped at the scene to help the cyclist. The police would like to see both these men.
