Town Hall impresses
Councillors on the Cheviot County Council have been impressed with the Christchurch Town Hall. The council decided at its June meeting to grant $lOO towards equipping the halt This is in addition to the $2OO the council contributed towards the hall in 1960. Councillors spoke highly of the hall and said it was a “building to be proud of.”
