Bill from synod
(N.Z. Press Aiiortotionl NAPIER, April 27. A bill enabling students of other Christian denominations to attend the Anglican Theological College in Auckland was passed by the Anglican general synod in Napier today. The bill was presented by the Bishop of Auckland (the Rt Rev. E. A. Gowing). It also provides for Maori education work to be covered by amendments to the trust of the college. Parliamentary legislation is being prepared to enable the amendments to be made. Conditions.—The condition of the Christchurch skydiver injured at the Taieri air pageant last month, Morrian A. Campbell, was unchanged and he was still progressing favourably, a spokesman for the Wakari Hospital said yesterday. The Russian seaman, Grigory Nikulaevitch Lavrinovitch, who had surgery in Dunedin Hospital after an airborne mercy mission to the Russian trawler he was working on earlier i this month, is progressing! favourably.—(P.A.).
