(N.Z. Preet Association) GISBORNE. Had they made the most of their many scoring opportunities, Counties would have beaten East Coast at Tolaga Bay yesterday by more than the final score of 66-6. As it was the side scored 11 tries. The Counties top scorer was the full-back, J. Graham, whose tally for the day was 23 points from a try, a penalty goal and eight conversions. Its other tries came from B. Robertson (3), P. Goldsmith (2), E. Mcßobbie, R. Lendrum, J. . Hughes, P. Yates, and B. Cummings. B. Robertson dropped a goal. For East Coast, R. Kereopa scored a try which V. Tarangi converted.
