Tap woman shooter
Mrs Maureen Posa (Kaiapoi), who has only shot outdoors for about three years, has quickly made her mark in the sport. She was selected recently for the New Zealand Randle Trophy team to contest a postal shoot. In the contest she returned the good total of 389 from a possible of 400 even though her sighting
flag was obscured by other shooters. A mother of eight, Mrs Posa was the only representative from the Christchurch Association to be selected for the national side, which consisted of 10 members.
