Ban relaxed
The ban on shooting in the Waimakariri riverbed was relaxed by the North Canterbury Catchment Board yesterday for the duration of the game shooting season in favour of bona-fide holders of game licences. Mr J. M. Pickering asked for, and received, an assurance that the relaxation would not be “for certain people to do as they liked.”
