Nuggets for Hastings
“The Preu" Special Service HASTINGS. The Kumara Racing Club has given the Hawke’s Bay Jockey Club a small casket of gold nuggets (two ounces) in appreciation for a set of scales given by the Hawke’s Bay club. The Hawke’s Bay club has decided to present the nuggets to the owner of the winner ot the Hawke’s Bay Hurdles at the winter meeting. Members of the Kumara Racing Club will be Invited to the meeting to pre sent the trophy.
