U.K. reserves
Britain’s gold and currency reserves rose by £32m in March. It was the eighteenth successive month of a rise in reserves, taking them to £2715m. Sterling went up four pqints on the foreign exchange market, to $2.61155 and share prices, which were already rising increased further. ,No overseas debt repayments were announced.— (P.A;-Reuter.)
