PRESIDENT
The president of the Oxford Agricultural and Pastoral Association this year is Mr E. Grimsey jun., who has lived in the Oxford district all his life. Mr Grimsey, a batchelor, farms a 300 acre property east of Oxford. The property was formerly farmed by his father, Mr E. J. Grimsey, vqbo is a life member of the Oxford A. and P. Association and also served a term as president. Mr Grimsey fun M has about 1050 Corriedale ewes on his property and 300 hoggets. About 50 acres are cropped in barley and wheat. Besides being a committee member of the A. and P. Association for 10 years, Mr Grimsey has been active in a number of other community organisations in Oxford. He is a past president of the local collie club and is one of the volunteers who belong to the Oxford Search and Rescue Group. He has been an active member of the Ashley Polo Club since it was founded about eight years ago.
